Dream On Me in cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is recalling its Bistro High Chairs, Model 255 because CPSC testing shows that the front openings between the tray and seat bottom and on the side openings of the high chair between the armrest and seat bottom can allow a child’s body to pass through and become entrapped at the neck. This poses a strangulation hazard to young children if the belt is not engaged. In addition, exposed springs between the seat and armrest on both sides of the high chair can create a pinch hazard to the child. Please stop using the high chair immediately. While there have been no incidents with the high chairs reported, Dream On Me is taking this action to prevent future incidents.

Dream On Me is offering a replacement high chair Model 258. To receive your replacement product, please do the following:

1. Destroy the recalled high chair: Make your recalled high chair unusable by completely removing the fabric seat cover from the high chair. To facilitate removal of the seat cover from the high chair cut each of the five straps that hold the seat in place (two straps are located at the top of the high chair and thee are located below the seat bottom).

2. Email proof of destruction to Dream On Me: Take a picture of the unusable high chair including the “law tag” from the back of the chair, which shows Dream On Me’s name and the model/style number of the recalled high chair. Send the picture(s) to [email protected] . Include your name, address and telephone number in the email.

3. Receive replacement product: Upon receipt of the requested documentation, Dream On Me will ship you your replacement high chair.

The Bistro High Chair, Model 255 frame and fabric seat cover should not be returned to the manufacturer or retailer. After making the high chair unusable, you can dispose of it with your household trash. Please do not attempt to sell, re-sell or donate the recalled high chair as we do not want a child to be injured and it is against the law to resell a recalled product.
